You got it right. The 2011 Kawasaki Z1000 will now be sold locally through Kawasaki Philippines. First units will arrive in October 2011. But you have to hurry and decide now if you want to buy this awesome monster bike because almost all units are sold out. Potential buyers (ooohhh and some resellers) have already reserved several units as early as June 2011.

Honestly speaking, I think the Kawasaki z1000 can be my “reality bike” as opposed to my “dream bike”, which is either a Yamaha r6 or Ducati Evo 848. Because? R6 is not sold locally, but you can buy it brand new through gray imports. The other reason is that the r6 and Evo 848 are more expensive — 650,000 and 1,000,000 pesos, respectively.

Expected Price Range of the 2011 Kawasaki Z1000 (according to my very reliable sources): 540,000 to 580,000 pesos. I will post the final price here once Kawasaki Philippines will launch the Z1000 sometime in October.

Guys, my friend is selling his beloved bike – 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250r. It was highly-modified with lots of accessories. Present odometer is 11,000+ km. Used for only 1 year and five months. The bike is in Cavite.

I just got an email from Ducati Philippines. The final price of the 2011 (not the latest 2012 model) Ducati 848 Evo is 1 million pesos or roughly around $23,200. This price is higher compared to the US’ (approx $19,000) and UK’s (approx 10,000 pounds).

This is in time for the Sinulog Festival 2011, which officially started on January 15, 2011. I was not able to attend the event itself because my schedule was tight. I have to be in Masbate City on January 13 and Lucena City on January 14.

But I did celebrate the Sinulog weekdays with some of my Cebuano friends.

This is my Kawasaki Ninja 250r ride from Cagayan de Oro City to Butuan City.

There was no time for me to take many pictures because it was raining in both cities. I have to change my shirt a couple of times because it was all wet. Nice road from CDO to Gingoog, but it all went hell when I reached the Gingoog – Agusan highway. Too many broken roads (on the center, left, and right lanes), dogs roaming around the artery, large trucks double-parking on sides, etc.
